About my work

I am an indie writer who resides in the Midwestern United States, lives for family and friends, and thrives on escapist reading.

Call me a book snob, but I am very particular about what I read and seek to learn at least a little something, anything, through what I choose. Be it a different culture, a place outside my own reality, or the simple experience of a talented writer’s style, I am amazed at human culture and loving reading and writing about it from a humanist perspective.

Happy reading to you!

“The only way for a woman…to find herself, to know herself as a person, is by creative work of her own. There is no other way.”

  1. As I read your written words, I think…this is my “little” sister!! She is the extrovert, the seeker of knowledge and the “no shit” kind of woman everyone wants to know. I am the lucky one to know her and feel that spark she “flicks” my way!!

A book club!! Wow! My best friend and I have made a vow to start one when we grow up!

  4. Excited to read your books on my Kindle. 🙂

  5. Nice to meet a fellow indie writer and book snob.

I have bookmarked your site in my browser. I had no idea the television producer I worked with years ago was such a skillful writer.

    • Awww – thanks, Jeff! It’s so nice to have you read my stuff. Since I don’t get to write copy for a living any more, writing short stories for fun satisfies most of my creative cravings.
